    Home hair salon

Hello, I have a home salon and I'm very happy with how easy it was to adapt to Covid-19 restrictions. However, my clients don't enter my house. My salon is a converted garage and has it's own loo (and washing machine is in there too). I insure through Salon Gold (public liability) and house...

Visors and face mask rules in England August 2020

Oh, and also I have tried a few different masks and shields over the past few weeks and the one that is most comfortable with is the type that is like a pair of glasses- check out minarelo face shields, although there are many companies selling the same thing.

Visors and face mask rules in England August 2020

Yes, make sure that the metal wire in your mask is really well moulded to your nose and cheeks, so that the air goes out of the side of your mask, not the top. Also, it’s better to use a shield that has a gap at the top to let the warm air out

Hiya, I’m just ordering some colour storage from a guy who specialises in making storage for crafters. It’s all made of lazer cut mdf, looks really good. He is going to email me the design today, so I could pass it on to you if you are interested? Fran

'Bleeding' highlight tint, full head of highlights-why?

I Have a regular client who always has a full head of highlift colour foils, but today every single one of them 'bled' a bit. The temperature wasn't that warm, she wasn't moving around a lot. Has anyone else experienced this after years of successful highlights in the same colour?

    Revlon colour balls 1002

I like it as a very gentle toner. Some of the Revlon balls tend to grab porous areas too quickly but this violet toner is quite even with coverage. Only for mild toning though. Good conditioner too.

    Can going brown help?

Actually, you could also try just lowering the peroxide volume,!using 5 or 10 vol with the bleach instead. It just takes longer, but still lifts well.
