    Buying Creative products

Thanks for that. I did try to ring them earlier today to be honest but as they do not work on Saturday (according to the answer-phone) I thought I would drop a question on here ... and I am sure your answer will help more than just myself. Can you confirm that they do not handle online...

    Air Brush Nightmare

UPDATE, and the nightmare continues! The One-Stop-Shop I bought the brush from has closed. Simair (make the brush) is in liquidation. Su-Do will only service air brushes that are are used for tanning, which Su-Do tells me they now concentrate on! They did refer me to Su-Do 'Mist'. Su-Do...

Thanks for that Mieke ... trying that this evening and see how it goes in the morning. Anyone know a good source of spares? One place sells a few, another sells a different few?

    Air Brush Nightmare

It's a real pain. I have spent all afternoon cleaning everything I can see and/or get at and have followed the cleaning procedures to the letter, inlcuding the soaking overnight thing. Still the paint/water/cleaning fluid blows out of the cup ... a bit like a whale! I am torn between...

    Air Brush Nightmare

I am having a REAL check of it today and will check those. The needle does seem to be fine but the needle locking nut may be a clue. DO you use the same kind of thing ... or does anyone use exactly the same model?

    Air Brush Nightmare

I was hoping to help raise some money for the local primary school at their May Fair ... and something happened that caused me to have to call it off! I have an XL2000 airbrush runining with an XL compressor (sold as a kit at Creative) and have used it on other occasions for body and nail...

    Prices - Losing sleep!

I think I worry more about prices than any other single thing to do with mobile nailing :-( I know it is time I put them up a little (or make some savings) but I am charging roughly the same as local salons. I know the salons have bigger overheads but on the other hand have to run the car...

Anyone use a mini-generator for airbrush kit?

Yep, but I have a compressor already. What I am looking at is a generator to power the compressor if you are doing a village fete or whatever where you are sat in a field with no electric :-) Thanks for the warning about the canisters Samx

Anyone use a mini-generator for airbrush kit?

I have had a few invitations to do some airbrushing at a few local fetes etc. but I will obviously need electricity as there is none on the site(s) I can use. Does anyone here us a small quiet generator and if so could you pass on any advice, warnings, links etc. Many thanks :-)

    NAil association!

. The Guild is indeed offering a joint membership, including the International Nail Association but apart from a site in Japanese I can't can't find out anything about them. Any ideas or links in order to contact them as I don't really want to join when I can't even identify them :-)

    Local Licence for airbrush bodyart?

In case it's helpful: I have just spoke to my local licensing office who say that unless I am doing it on a street corner or within a designated local market then a licence is not required. The subject of car boot sales came up but they seemed to think that as long as the market itself is...

    Local Licence for airbrush bodyart?

Just a quick one; does anyone know if I need a licence of any type to operate a small airbrush bodyart stall at local fetes etc? I am assuming that you DO if you do it on the local promenade but what about a private function I wonder? Kids party, church fete, school sports day etc etc...

Body Art Stencils Without The Skulls !!

Hopefully 'Spray 2 Go' may be able to help me out but just in case she is unable; does anyone else know where I can get some good quality body art stencils that are suitable (in both size and subject) for young children? I recently ordered a flower stencil on the understanding that it was for...

Body Art Stencils Without The Skulls !!

This may be the wrong place to pop it but no doubt somebody will move it if it is  I am looking for some stencils for body art but am particularly looking for smaller stencils, suitable for children. There are lots out there with skull and crossbones etc. for 'grown-ups' (?)...

Tabbards galore, but not the one I want!

I am looking for some tabbards of a particular type. After looking at lots of sites I still don't seem to be able to find the kind I want. Who would have guessed they can be so different! In the hope that somebody here has a recomendation from buying some themselves, I am looking for...
