    'Minx coat' under gel

I havent seen any videos of it with Shellac, there is one by Minx with polish but I have noticed it seems to be mainly shown on short nails as a base for gel and acrylic. In a video Minx shared of a russian tech using it she seemed to heat it under a heat lamp, not sure if thats standard...

    'Minx coat' under gel

Thanks :) I thought I'd order a trial pack to see what its all about but the Minx site will only let you order if you order the complete Minx starter set too which I don't want or need to do. I mailed them but no response :|

    'Minx coat' under gel

Its not unusual for me to find myself being the last person to comment but I am confused by this one lol....Maybe this topic has been done and I'm just not finding it or is every one reading and assuming the OP is asking about The Minx nail coverings we are all already familiar with? Minx Coat...

    'Minx coat' under gel

I've just seen this on the Facebook page for nail artist Classic Mully, I thought I would find info on here but I didn't. I'm so puzzled. The videos claim its suitable for any gel or acrylic and under polish or gel polishes and in the case of enhancements, can be used as a form also. I'd...

What to say to a client about nails pinging off

Just because her previous salon didn't have 'english' techs does not mean by default it is an nss salon. Your steps don't say if you removed the cuticle from the nail plate or if you blended and thinned the tips. x

What nails are you sporting today?

Love these :) Are they gems or done with Additives and topcoat?

What nails are you sporting today?

It was one coat of Shellac Wildfire and then one of Red Baroness, then topcoat dotted into the Red Baroness to give a really subtle textured effect which sadly doesn't show well in pictures but looks great in person lol. I saw a video FingerNailFixer did of the technique and love it. X

    New venture, need help

Years ago I signed up for an Essential Nails course and while there's no question their speed in getting back to me was great I just couldn't quite get to grips with the whole distance learning side of it and a move abroad meant I didn't complete it anyway. I went on to train with EzFlow in a...

    Glitters and Shellac

I use Clearly pink and one layer of topcoat too rather than two layers of topcoat, I find it removes more easily that way as well. If I've carved a pattern I do the same thing to get the finish perfectly smooth.

CND UV lamps - solution may not agree with everyone

I did the exact same thing but with a few extra pages and the pink lamp was the only one that stood out to me as well. Actually enjoyed that bit of reading, lots of Geeks have set them selves up in some gorgeous rooms! X

CND UV lamps - solution may not agree with everyone

I hope thats not so. I have two lamps, both CND. One is my old Brisa lamp which I keep for back up. It would never occur to me to buy a non CND lamp for Shellac or the Brisa range and I really hope that is the same most techs. X
