No I would no refund. I’ve had this happen before. Next time you need to explain fully about this to every client so they are aware it could happen to them and you do not know how it will affect them until they wear them. Obviously you can offer all client a strand test which they need to wear...
Beautyworks hair is not the best on the market although they have a huge following. The hair does shed a lot and dries out quickly. And it’s so expensive for what it is.
I can’t comment on their training though. They do do all methods so maybe a good place to get trained up then go from there...

I have setup a business plan and also sorted out rent and business rates. I'm trying to find a slightly smaller salon so I can hopefully get business rate relief for the first year.
Can you tell me what you did and how much you needed and the sizing of your salon?
Thanks guys! How did you go about getting staff to start with? I've approached a few who have said they are up for it but what if they then get cold feet? x
Are there any salon owners out there who can help me?
I'm still in the early days of setting up, I've looked at 2 potential places, one city centre and one just outside!
Where do I go from here, iv and approached a couple of people who have said they are very interested but what do I do if they...
I get this too, but I find it's what pliers or removal tools your using. I've tried the cheaper ones and any grooves over time cause me blisters so it needs to have a soft handle, if it hasn't I wrap plasters around the handles to make sure it's soft against my hands.
Hope that helps x
What method are you doing?
As the above shows yes you could space each strand out using itips. If I'm using prebonded I cut the bonds in half and still do a full head but with half the weight x
That's a shield Hun and will protect the bonds from any stray strands. I use one with every single strand. The ratio comes with time and practise as charjem has said x
I have to say if you have no qualifications in hairdressing at all then I'd be careful where you train. Most good courses don't allow non hairdressers anyway and after having years of experience in hair extensions it's vital.
Cutting and blending, are all things that take a long time to learn...
