    Matrix so colour

Dream Age is matrix's recommended tint for over 50% grey, but the lightest would ne a 9M or 9GW , they are both quite gold though and I sometimes scatter some bleach foils through the hair to lighten it up a bit

    Affinage Form3D

Tried this on Friday on a male model, did just what I hoped it would, very easy to use, he wears his hair in a parted quiff, but has very strong straight hair, the result was immediately obvious, the hair was softer, very easy to quiff with no resistance , you have 48 hours in which it isn't to...

    Nioxin trial and testing

Have been using number 3 on my mum for about 7 weeks now, she is on Arimedex and I believe this is the cause of her hair thinning as it blocks some of the oestrogen so to try and prevent cancer returning, we have definitely seen an improvement and have recommended it to many clients with the...

    Macadamia vs Moroccan oil?

Aston and Fincher are the UK stockists I believe , remember aswell you are bound by a RRP, at the moment its about £31 for a 100ml bottle, the salon down the road tried selling it at £25 a while ago, the wholesalers turned up and told them if they didn't put the price back to £31 they would not...

    Red highlights help!

I find Magma loses its tone quicker than Majicontrast as Magma is a bleach with tone added and Majicontrast is a tint

    Red highlights help!

I would use MajiContrast like above or Magma by Wella, and they can keep the colour from fading by using one of the red conditioners you can buy, I use the Copper one from Evo

    Affinage Eraser

I always test cut anyway when using Eraser or NXT colour remover to check condition and levels of lift, worth doing that then you can see before you take the plunge
