I rarely do nails any more and when i do it's gel or L&p but I bought a bottle of midnight swim vinylux and top coat thinking it might be a quick easy way to get some colour on my own nails because I can't be bothered with the application...

yes solar oil is good for this type of thing but if you wish to stick with OPI I believe there cuticle oil to be a good one too.

I have mostly been a CND tech but have also worked with Ez FLow, IBD & Odessey & Calgel & Biosculpture. CND is a very popular brand & young nails seems to be getting pretty big here too. How big the market is is going to very much depend on where you go.

Did they not go through the different gels on your training? Maybe you should get in touch with your trainer because they really should be explaining what each gel does.

My most common steps when doing BS colour overlay is Prep 1 hand, exec base Other hand Sculpting gel 2 x colour UV gel Sometimes the gels I use vary for different peoples needs but this suits the majority of people.

I think it's very unlikely that the colour was the problem. Are you sure you buffed off all of the UV gel? I always buff 1 hand, making sure file off the UV gel & if I have built the nail up at all I thin it a little. Wrap that hand & put in heat pack while I do the other hand. Then I get out...

executive base definately helps with soak off but that is still a long time even without it.

I have not used shallac, but I have used gelish on 2 little girls. 1 had no problems with it, the other peeled it off. I did put it down to child though & not the product, she quite happily tells eveyone that she peeled it off, "but mum I promise I won't if my friend does them again" lol.

I'm after a sheet that shows the steps to a nonsurgical (microcurrent)l face lift massage, so I've got an easy to have at hand, guide until I've got the steps memorised. If anyone has a link to where I could find one it would be greatly appreciated.

There's no reason that your consultation/record cards need to be printed. Just do them by hand until you get going. It really does help you to keep track of things. When I started I used those 8x10 cards and wrote on the by hand.

Your album must be set to private because I can't see it either. If you hae it set to private only your friends can see it.

When you're new you really need to be careful not to buy things that are going to be a waste of money. It's soooo easy to get carried away and end up with one of everything that you don't need (I ended up with lots of things in my shed).
