OK, I have no problems when it comes to doing my gels.There is no lifting at all.So why am I having problems with my acrylics doing that?It's usually around the side walls.I am so aware when doing my prep.Does anyone have any ideas other than the usual filing,cleansing,or product touching sides...

i haven't found that at all.it's still in good condition.the bristles are a little spread out.that's it.

i first started out with my manicure brush that came with my kit,but i found it a little too firm.now i use a soft bristled toothbrush!!!it's actually a kids toothbrush.so it's smaller than your regular adult one.my clients get a kick out of it.it's pink with a picture of tweety bird on it.:lol:

gelbond helped me a great deal.i had been using a thin liquid adhesive and always had some kind of airbubble.it was definitely making my blending very difficult.make sure you have enough in the well of the tip and roll the tip onto the natural nail. good luck!!!

i use slivered almonds for nail tips.they're already a perfect shape, no shaping or filing.adhere with a little icing.for my white i use marshmellow from a jar, great consistency,and perfect for smiles:lol: my pink would be a little raspberry crystal lite with mayo.sets up great!!and for my top...

hey there, i would use a file that was more coarse than the white block,either a 100 or 180 grit.make sure you're not touching the skin near the side walls,the gel will lift for sure.and maybe go for a higher wattage.i use a 9w.not too sure about the white tips,i've never used them.but try using...

i'm the same way when i'm doing my own fill.i have no problems doing my left hand but then i get to my right and it takes me forever.i end up doing my left hand one day then the right hand the next. call me crazy:eek:but it leaves me a little less frustrated. good luck!!
