I love NSI Gel and find it strong, durable and looks great even after 3 weeks!! It's a buff off gel so just keep filing until you're nearly at the base then soak that last bit and it should come off quite easily!!! I've never used Brisa so can't comment on that, but CALGEL is amazing!!!

It really depends on the area....... maybe get some price lists of other nail and beauty salons in your area and compare your prices to theirs?

Well i use Calgel and literally haven't done a single set of UV Gel or L&P nails for at least 3-4 months... Calgel is all anyone in my area seems to want! Mind you, it might have something to do with the fact that there is an NSS asian nail bar around the corner ruining everyones nails...

So the Rio gel is a "hard gel" as opposed to a "soft gel" Hard gels cannot be soaked off, they must be filed and then buffed off (obviously as carefully as possible) whereas soft gels are soakable. You can get different consistencies of gel, a base gel is usually quite runny, a sculpting gel...

I've been using mine since 1998 :lol: have never replaced the blade or spring!

NSI gels are fab but anyone can buy them...

Yes BEWARE! They are SO convincing, they have official paper and the bloke wears a suit apparently... They ripped my friend off for £350 last year.... :rolleyes:

Hi Collins, You'll find that most Creative Techs will prob say it's misleading, simply because they're very very loyal to their company, they paid a lot of money and spent a lot of time training under the Creative name - which is fair enough ;) But i've also spent a lot of time and money on...

On my price list nail polish is included within a full set / rebalance / manicure / pedicure. I do find that most clients don't have polish as they like the Calgel/L&P pink and white. But there is the occaisonal customer who would like to have them polished (literally 2 a week) so it doesn't...

Hello babe, I'm trained in L&P, UV Gel and Calgel and i haven't done a UV Gel or L&P set in 3 months EVERYONE wants Calgel.... Areas do differ tho so check it out but i seriously haven't looked back! :D

To be honest, although a lot of people seem to think L&P is stronger, i don't agree, it's how well the nail product is applied to the nail! I haven't done a single set of UV Gel or L&P for the last 3 months, all anyone wants at the moment is Calgel! :eek:

Got mine at www.hollywoodstarnails.com, it cost £120 and you can ask for an extractor fan to be put in for £80 (i think) not sure if i'm remembering correctly! :green:

It's a really difficult situation isn't it..... I personally don't charge as i find that its only ever new clients that do this, once they've had their nails done they're like clockwork.... Doesn't really answer your question though doesn't it babe... :rolleyes:
