Hi, ive just signed up to a Microblading course and as far as im aware I will be providing the numbing cream for all clients, I would of assumed that anyway. Ive had treatments in the past that required it and its always been provided by the therapist. I will be sending two plasters to each...

Difference between a beauty therapist and a beautician?

Exactly what I was taught at college, a Beauty Therapist is qualified to prvide invasive treatents wheres as a beautitcian is what you would find at a department store beauty counter. I was always taught that Beauty Therapists are of a higher qualification than Beauticians, either way, I despise...

How much do you charge for Beauty Works hair extensions?

Thanks! I know, I wanted to do it too but as you said it's quite expensive. I had to reschedule my LA Weave course which they were really understanding about and said I could transfer but I'm not getting a reply to emails now, putting it down to Christmas etc, going to call today.

I've got the same problem.... I'm due to do my LA Weave™ Training soon but wanted to start advertising now to drum up interest and get some models but haven't a clue on how to price? I'm sure I'll learn all this at training but really wanted to get cracking and organised.

    FHA and SRH

I must admit I'm a little hesitant too, I joined recently as I too wanted to support regulation and professional standards but I don't feel it's benefiting me? None of my clients seem the least bit bothered by it and I'm paying a monthly membership fee, I haven't visited the website since I...

    People asking for discounts-rant

I had one last night, I've sprayed this lady once about a year ago and she has sent me a message asking for a tan on Friday coming and a bouncy blow dry on the Saturday. Asked how much for both when I told her she replied "why isn't there a deal on it?" I explained that I don't have a deal on at...

How do you remove the glue build up on your hair extension heat connectors?

I have no idea about this, not my field but I use wax product remover on loads of sticky surfaces. It's less than a fiver for a big bottle, maybe you could wipe that over the glue to remove? X

As said already it's the first trimester that's a no-no, hormones levels are up the wall. However, I'm pregnant and had a spray well into my second trimester and it was awful was my usual tan, sprayer, routine etc but was so patchy, really really itchy and faded terribly, has really put me off...
