I can't take credit for this design, my sister saw it on the Facebook page of Urban Bliss Beauty Therapy and had to have it! Using Bio Sculpture Brigitte and Blanc
Many men get their nails done, and it has nothing to do with their orientation; some do it because they like it, some to stop biting their nails etc etc. Any nail tech should be happy to take on a client regardless of gender if they truly want to get their nails done.
I'm sure there is...
I only use Bio Sculpture Gel, so I'm sure someone else can advise you further if you wanted to pursue Shellac; they do have Brisa Lite which I believe is for strengthening
Alternatively, Bio Sculpture could be an option as the gels involved can provide you with the strength it sounds like you...
Mine :) Bio Sculpture Turquoise Teacup with gold stamping - it's actually a nail fail coz I was planning something else which didn't work so just did this :)
If that was Bio Sculpture, the tech needs to go back to training.
In most cases, Bio techs soak off every set before doing a new one - I don't think this was Bio Sculpture
As for what it is, I've not seen it before, sorry so I can't help!
It's really odd that you have been told to use cuticle oil to do cuticle removal - unless all traces of the oily residue are removed, I'm not surprised that they are lifting
The later generation bundle monster plates are good, the first series are very small. While I've never had a problem with the designs not being etched deeply enough, I know other people have and their customer service is excellent.
I've not tried their stampers though, I bought an XL stamper...
Stamping is a great tool to get more confident in nail art in a relatively simple manner. There are heaps of good brands, check out the Konad thread (first post) for pointers and info
Stamping is not cheating - it takes time and practice to master stamping. Free hand nail art has it's place, so does stamping. It's one way a client (and tech!) can guarantee a consistent result
Don't let it knock your confidence when you knew it was going to happen, you even told her.
This is why I won't sculpt on nail biters - does it really break the habit? Or does it just make it easier for them, because when they bite them off, I would be able to replace them. I personally feel...
I do see it happening eventually, the discontinuing of sculpting gel since it isn't led curable. It just makes sense - you have a heap of new starters only buying led, it may not be soon, but why continue to make only one UV curable gel? UNLESS there is something in the pipe to replace it...
