It soaks off in about 6 minutes. It's like one of those fortune telling fish from the fair that curl up. Most of it curls up in big chunks leaving only small bits which wipe off with a cotton pad. It's quicker than shellac to remove and leaves no residue on the nails. Can't fault the removal...
Out of interest, I'm wondering how many non pat tested chargers are used in staff rooms.....i know at my work there's pretty much a phone on charge in every office at any given time (day job in a Hotel so lots of staff areas). None of those have been pat tested and in all honesty as an...
Don't let cost be the deciding factor if possible. You could spend out on Gellux training only to find it applies differently to your chosen brand. You may then need or want to train with your chosen brand meaning you've spent out on 2 courses
Do you hold a basic mani qualification? Or are you...
Why don't they like it? I've not used it myself so don't know how it applies etc
There's loads of brands you can try: CND shellac, gel II, gelish, opi gelcolour, gellux, ilac by Ink London x

There's quite a few threads if you do a search but this one is quite long so may be a good place to start

I agree. I felt really cack handed to begin with but after practise it became so much easier. I have small hands but it's definitely possible to hold the bottle

The 14 disco is brown toned whereas the 14 cocktail is golden so the disco appears darker. I don't like the cocktail one at all but then I'm not a fan of the gold range either. Disco is nice though

Personally I wouldn't use them and if i was a client I'd expect my tech to be able to do it freehand. Like someone else said you can go in with a tiny bit of dsperse on a gel brush after to crisp the line up. Just keep practising :-)

My most popular are 12 and then 10 in that order. I used to stock the 14 disco and fast tan but don't bother now. If someone wanted darker I'd go for disco.
I find the brown/normal range is darker than the gold (which I don't like at all) so it's very rare that 12 isn't dark enough

The acetone apparently damages the stamping head. It gives it an almost pitted appearance with tiny little pock marks which in turn affects the image pickup x

If you draw up a survey I'd complete it. Just google survey making sites and set one up. You could also ask fellow techs on fb as well
Do you not have any idea of which brand you would like to distribute for? I only ask as most of the big brands have established distributors in place plus...
I find roughly a week on fingers, weeks on toes. Most other polishes chip on me within the first day.
I started with 10 colours - Sweet Squared did a starter kit when I started but they don't seem to sell it anymore. I got french colours, couple of reds and couple of pinks and a dark colour. I...
I use CND Vinylux, takes a bit of getting used to the application but it dries super quick, good range of colours and is very reasonable. I also use CND Shellac and clients like the fact they can match their toes to fingers. It is quite durable as well, will last weeks on toes

No need to prime it, definitely no acetone on it. Use a lint roller to clean it off. ...how are you picking up the image? I assumed because it's squishy that I should press down but found it smudged so I gently roll it to pick up the image and it works perfectly. Did take me some getting used to...

Have a look through this thread and focus on the photos that are after wash off otherwise you're just looking at the guide colour which isn't a reflection on the developed tan.
I use LA Tan. Really reasonable price with great deals, fade off is...
Are you getting a lot of glitter coming off when you top coat? I wonder if you're pressing it in too hard and disturbing the inhibition layer meaning there's patches that aren't as tacky.
Also why do you cure after applying glitter? I cure my colour coats, apply glitter then top coat and then...
