Yes, you can use oil under strip wax. And contrary to popular belief, you can successfully use strip wax for a bikini wax. There is no reason it needs to be more painful or cause bruising etc just because it's strip wax. Just be sure to hold the skin nice and tight, and pull the strip off...

The best way to tell if your wax is the right temperature is to test it on the inside of your wrist.

If it was a burn, it would burn when you applied the wax. This is removal of skin, in which case, applying a colagen gel/cream would work well or aloe vera. Applying a thin layer of oil on the skin prior to waxing would be recommended. How did you prep your skin before applying wax?

My biggest piece of advice would be to stop with the Tend skin immedietly. You are over using it big time!! Tend skin is extremly harsh. If you need to use the tend skin, I would say every few days at most. This is probably your biggest problem. You want to exfoliate gently in the shower...

I have 4 wax pots on the go in my room. One contains cream wax, the other is a honey wax, and the last 2 are both hard wax (I do far more brazilians then anything).

We also have more hair on one side of our head too.

You can apply the PFB directly to newly waxed skin. It really helps take the bumps down much faster. Then apply daily until you see hair. Then, about 4 days prior to waxing again, start applying PFB again.

Radiation treatemts tend to be localized, so there would be an area on the body that would be more sensitive, perhaps sore. You would just need to wax around this area. But everywhere else is ok.

I use the Berins Jasmine oil for pre-waxing and post waxing. On the face, underarms and bikini line though I use the Jasmine oil pre-wax and I use the clear it or the soothing mask aftewards.

In Canada, Barbacide is considered a low level decontaminate and only allowed to be used for hairdressers combs and brushes. I use Accel CS20 for my metal implements and Accel TB for any bed, or table surfaces.

My wax pots that are very used, definetly do not have anything floating in them either.

LOL I think it's like the classic "a friend of a friend of a friend said such and such". I have been an Esthetician in Canada for 10yrs and have yet to have a client report to me that they picked up anything, nor heard of a single documented case where someone has gotten something from a wax pot.

This is what I use too...and I love it. I do use the disposable wooden ones for underarms, face and bikini/braz waxing.

No, we tried, and it took the entire cartridge and still was a horrible mess. In theory, they are a great idea, but practically, they don't work at all.
