    Wella Colour ID

I have used it quite alot in my salon, mostly with dark colour tho not blonde, but I have had nice results, but I agree the texture it turns the colour is hard to work with but you get use to it, doing ombré with colour I'd is fun if you are darkening

Change from bleach blonde to ombre Wella

Use wella illumina 1/2 7/31 and 1/4 7/89 + 6% no need to pre pig with illumina and this colour is a lovely tone that doesn't go green over blonde but also doesn't go too warm or gingery! I normally mix this with colour ID and do a ombré but that last part is optional if you are happy with your...

    Balayage ombré from blonde?

colour I.D is a new range wella have brought out that you mix in with your colour, basically it stops colours next to each other mixing into each other if that makes sense. it makes the colour very thick and you can create lovely root drags and ombre's. Illumina is more natural muliti-tone...

Taking colour through to the ends?

Normally with wella, I would either take through root colours to the ends but mix with pastel or colour match with colour touch to re fresh ends, there is also perfection and colour fresh you can use, but these wouldn't last as long.

    Balayage ombré from blonde?

Another thing to do would be to use colour I.D in wella, do the 6.3 on roots and comb with colour I.D then smudge into an 8 on bit lengths, it gives a really nice effect, also if you have illumina and doing it over blonde hair, as long as you use a base 7 and not a 6 in illumina you don't need...
