    Iona colour

Her previous hairdresser won't tell her which is odd she told her the make but not the numbers etc. Yeh I'll go in and look at the chart she said she's a base 5 so I'm guessing what you said is right part 5 part 5.35. Thank you.

Is it true that in the summer your hair grows faster? I know the sun has vitamins D but does it really grow more in the warmer weather or is it a myth?

    What would you say?

I am so glad to have read all these comments I have the same problem when men text to book an appointment I never know what to say as I don't want a bad review on my adverts. I now say my minimum call out is £15 (mens cut is £10) I also call to see how they sound but I prefer to do men that are...

    Colour techniques for men

Hi all Has anyone got any ideas on techniques to do on men's colour? Especially bleach as yesterday I did comb on colour on a mans hair and it did not lift light enough (I used bleach 12%) maybe I should of wrapped foil round but it was very warm in his house. What other ways is there to get...

    Wella burgundy color help please!

Hi It would be quite hard to achieve this exact colour on someone with a base 2 hair colour i would defiantly use the lighter shade (55/) with 9% as you want to lift it 2 shades it will prob end up as the darker shade. As with the blonde panels at the front I would explain it will be slightly...

Difference with Wella and cheap peroxide?

Yes I'm getting the same good results with tints but I find semi permanent and pastel toning is not such a great result! (I use 3%) Also recently 12% with highlift or bleach highlights isn't lifting as light as it should I reckon they have changed an ingredient in the cheap peroxide as I'm not...

Difference with Wella and cheap peroxide?

Do you really notice a difference in the peroxides? The salon I used to work at used wella colours and just cheap hi tech peroxide. I'm now a mobile hairdresser and would like people's opinions is there really a difference?

    3% on grey hair?

Hi I have had a client ask me to use 3% peroxide rather than 6% on her roots. (She's worried it will damage her hair) I use wella and she has black 22/0 she does have grey so I wondered would I get 100% coverage still?
