    Going mobile

Thank you for the reply. To be honest i begrudge lowering as i think i am more than reasonable to begin with. The reason i assumed id have to lower is because all the mobile hairdressers in my area are so cheap. even with the 20% reduction i will still be at the higher end of the mobile prices...

    Self employed dealing with complaints

I'd be furious! How dare she. She should have your back. She should of said "oh I am sorry she's not here today but I'll call her and let her know your upset. I'm sure she will contact you straight away to rectify any problems." Sounds to me like she is trying to nab your clients.

    Going mobile

Hi geeks, I've been salon based for a long time. I owned my own salon up until June this year and closed up and went to another local salon as a rent a chair. Everything has been amazing g we get on so well my clients were happy with the move and I hardly lost any at all. But today the salon...

Feeling really anxious - considering writing a complaint about a teacher

Sometimes the biggest critics can be your best teacher. When you can do a blowdry and your biggest critic has no negative feedback you know you have cracked. Work with it. I wouldn't make a complaint it's not going to get you anywhere. It could cause more bad friction which you don't want. Focus...

    Self employed problems

The salon owner want to treat you as an employee without having to actually pay ypu a set wage. so when you dont earn its not for him to pay you. If i was you i would approach him and say "This isnt working out the way i had hoped, i would like to go to a set rent (£20 per day seems to be the...
