also now its getting colder weather - your removal might be taking longer too - try heated mits or those wheateze things you heat in the microwave - this def sppeds up the removal process. x
Short courses were only ever meant to get you on your way - not to 'fully qualify you' and the rest came from working hard and getting experience.
I did a lash course and its taken me a year of practice and study before I have felt good enough to be let loose on a paying client. If I was...
Yes I agree - Bio missed the bus on getting the product out there when it has been round for so long - their formula was a 'secret'.
I also had to 'stick up' for it on here as no one really got it until CND brought out Shellac and many others followed on. - how I felt Bio had failed...
Hi there,
where did you get your backscratchers? I did fibre glass in 1992 and for a few years its all I ever did but other systems kind of took over. I like to have a go again as I absolutely loved them.
Disadvantages were simply that they werent as strong as acrylic but the overall look...
Hi - I havent done electrolysis on paying clients for a good few years now - so I think I need a refresher very soon.
My opinions on electrolysis are that it is now a bit of a niche treatment. Not many do it but there is still and always will be a demand.
Just as Ruth said - get your name...
Maybe you can offer this as a seperate service in the future.
Obviously the higher the percentage of dha the more risk of it just looking odd. But if you do another 12% it will give a nicer more natural look. So maybe call it a double tan where you go back within 24 hours for a deeper...
I know you won't but if the lady asks you to cover it with airbrush - don't!
It will seep into the sore and cause irritation. Just thought I would mention that

I was going to do it in 1999 but never got round to it (at the time it was Finishing touches, wake up with makeup, Evie Adams and a company called soft tap which was a hand tool method of application)
By 2004 I wished I had done it but still never got round to it. I did look at going to canada...
Just keep practicing on friends and family till you feel confident. Everytime I do something new I am not confident for ages after. I don't want the comebacks so put extra pressure on myself .
With extra training tho - I do feel you pick up little tips and tricks that really help with day...
I really like the A-tan 8, 10 and 12% but have not been as keen on the rapide. its ok - but prefer the originals.
Good service though. Decent prices - same quality.
I remember this lady as one half of the untouchables . I did wonder where she was now. Good to see someone taking the plunge and succeeded in something completely different.

Its up to you. Sometimes people invest in it - then lose confidence in it or find it takes a bit more time in set up than a traditional. I do 90% of brides with airbrush. when I got mine 7 years ago I didn't feel confident in it. But I love it.
I have been doing nails and beauty 22 years - Im 40 (although I have been told I look nowhere near but I dont know about that) but I tend to say in my leaflets and ad's "with over 15 years experience". Why?
Just so it doesn't alienate clients under 30 - who think I won't know current stuff -...
Definitely use an eye primer. My fave is Anthony Braden as it works nicely as a base colour can be used under eyes to lighten too.
Keep colours matte or your shimmer shades minimal. A little shimmer under the brows can be flattering but full on sheen looks horrific. I mainly use matte...
