Thanks for the replies ladies. I have quite a bit of MAC make up, but my local MAC counter closed down, the nearest is an hour away and I've always been skeptical of buying make up over the internet, just because the colours are normally so far off what you thought they were!

I must have tried most lipsticks out there, but I am still searching for 'that' perfect red lipstick. I would prefer a matte effect but will give most things a try as long as long as it's not super glossy and shiny. Any suggestions? Xx

I have that lamp, and it's brilliant! I find it bet helpful that it's a direct spotlight, as I find with larger ones I always get in the way and create a shadow over the nails.

I think the colours are deceptively nicer than the bottles, as with most shellac colours. I just wish the grey thistle colour was coming in shellac. It's only being launched in vinylux. :(
