Hello, I am looking to train in mobile spray tanning. I was wondering if anyone knew which companies have 100% natural ingredients in there spray tans.
Some sites seem to say 'based on' 100% natural ingredients (does this mean they are 100% natural or is it a clever way to say things?) others don't even mention it. A few do say 100% natural and organic but either don't do training or seem to want you to be a salon owner.

Any help would be very much appreciated. I have been considering sienna x and tantrick so far, but not sure on their ingredients.

None of them. They all have to have some kind of chemical mix, in the preservatives,in the colouring,in the perfume etc.
Paraben free solutions and cosmetics are the buzz word at the mo but if they don't have parabens to preserve then they will just have something else.

Thanks for that, I did wonder when I was looking at the websites. Anyone got any idea which ones are almost natural :)? I just don't see the point of using chemicals if you don't have to. I have been looking into vani-t as well since I found a thread on here about training with them.

Thanks,

Vani-t is one of the only 100% natural and organic tans on the market. if you want to find out about training ect call planet blue on 02087430666.

Hi, try Vani-T this is 100% organic and as far as I know the only one. You can get a rep in and she can tell you every ingredient there is in it I was fascinated and on top of it all the tan is amazing.

What is it then just sugar and water and not tap water because thats got chemicals in it and the sugar would have to have been grown on an organic plantation.Im sorry but its a very big claim.
I have tried Vani t and it is lovely but a tan solution cannot be 100% natural and organic unless they are vague about the definition like many other companies using the same words and yes i know i use a product that suggests the same but at least i dont believe it or use the claims to sell it to my clients.
Its a ploy to get the upper hand over other solutions that may well contain the same ,its clever marketing that we shouldnt be taken in by.

Not wanting to burst any bubbles here but this is not 100% natural....think about it guy's...if it were it would go off in about 3 days from manufacture

Ok, thanks for your comments, all taken on board. I will give them a phone today and see if they can tell me if it is 100% natural. I do know of a few skincare companies which have natural preservatives etc in them, but not sure if this can be applied to spray tanning. Will see what they say and let you know.

Hi go on line and check all the ingredients I did and it is 100% organic. After my chemo I needed to use natural that's why I done my research.

I guess it depends what is meant by organic.I could say the pajamas im sitting in are organic.
Its a buzz word and alters peoples views and perceptions of a a product. They then think this product must be better than another product that doesnt make the same claims when in fact it may well contain the same things.
If an ingredient is natural it also doesnt mean it is completely harmless.
Many essential oils that are used to perfume products can course allergic reactions in people the same as artificial ones.

When I went to the website, the words I read were:

"The formula is all natural and organic based (my emphasis)"

This isn't quite the same as a completely natural & organic product. I'm not saying it's not as I don't know either way, just the website is unclear & I couldn't find a certification symbol for the organic claim. I'd be interested to hear what the rep has to say.

The word natural often used in all sorts of advertising for all sorts of products can be misleading.
The way i see ,DHA the tanning ingredient in any sunless tan product is derived from sugar but when it is altered it is now DHA and not sugar so its not in its natural state anymore so not natural.

Hiya. Vani-t is the closest you can get to fully certified organic. And yes the DHA is fully certified organic and the water would have had to go through some distilation process to get rid of chemicals in it.

The ingredients that are not certified organic can be traced to a natural source.(100% natural and organic) Before I took vani-t on, I did a comparison and I googled all the ingredients and their uses of the tan that I was using at the time and I was horrified when I saw what my old tan had in it. You will be amazed on what other uses some of the ingredients have.

At the end of the day its a personal preference what you use.:)

Hello, sorry to jump in on this but I too use Vani-T and know there products contain only 100% natural ingrediants. Like everyone does I did a lot of research before believing what companies state about their products & the claims! Vani-T use an organic DHA & aloe vera both of these certified, the other ingrediants are all sourced from natural elements. This is why I starting using it as it is the most natural tanning product around x x

Hello,

the only one I know that is 100% natural and organic is vani-t tan, it has 100% natural ingredients and a preservative system that is found in lots of natural skincare and vani-t tan is the only brand that uses it. Hope that helps?
