Hi, I'm looking to buy a 1000cc wax heater for mobile and wanted to know if all the same makes will work the same way, I know the Hive one is supposed to be good but i've also seen another one which is a bit cheaper. Also I just wanted to check if i can put my wax tin directly into these or do i pour it in. Thanyou!

Any advice would be great x

The Hive one is superior quality (even though they look the same they aren't). The dial on the cheaper one is usually stiff but I am not sure about temperature control as I havent actually used one on a regular basis, just used one during some training once and I didnt like the dial as it was very hard to move. I use the Hive ones daily without any problems, they maintain temperature well and can be easily adjusted if I want. I have heard that a couple of geeks do use the cheaper ones and are happy with them, so its all down to choice at the end of the day. I know with the cheaper ones you can get them in black as well as white.

I have one Hive one and two from Beauty Express. All work perfectly well. For these you decant your wax into the inner bucket.
