Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy my 1st Nail book today, can you recommend which one would be best to buy 1st

Encyclopedia on Nails, Nailclass or Complete Nail Technician:irked:?

Thank you

Niki :)

Hi, I take it you're completely new to nails? If so, I would suggest any one of the nail encyclopedias (they're both fab - I have them!). As you learn more and become a practising nail tech then you really must get Nailclass as it is packed full of valuable info (it's my bible!) also can I suggest the Product Chemistry book by Doug Schoon - again jam packed with vital information.

The complete Nail Technician by Marian Newman is the better of the two first books you mention IMHO ... more up to date as well and covers everything.

'nailclass' by gigi rouse is about application techniques .. different to any other book on nails

Nail Structure & Product Chemistry by Doug Schoon is an absolute must.

Thank you, I have ordered The Complete Nail off Amazon. :)
