30 second timers

i know this is going to sound like a bizarre question but here goes !, i have a 3 minute UV lamp that is great for my colour gel but for my clear gel i should only cure for 30 secs ( otherwise it goes yellowy) i have a timer to time the 30 seconds but it does my head in cos it constantly beeps till i have a hand free to turn it off which is a pain when i am in the middle of another nail :irked:! does anyone use a timer and what is the flipping beep like !???

Some UV Lamps have both a 30 second and a 2 minute timer built into the lamp.

Maybe you could check into what UV Lamps are available from different companies that would be more suitable for you.

hi geeg thanks for your reply, i have been looking for ages for a 30 second / 3 min lamp, the company do supply the digital ones but they are a bit of a faff to set the timers and they are mega ££££'s ! I'll have to patent one and get rich !

I have an IBD lamp.. It did cost $495 but came with an IDB Prof Kit..
It has 30sec 1,2and3min timer and just beeps once when done..
They are a good lamp..

I'm surprised that Calgel themselves don't dot it - considering the fact that their products are to be cured at these specific times.

hi Flower, calgel do sell them but they are ££££'s and i would like 2, BUT i cant belive that i have just found the exact same ones on the net at a fraction of the price ! yey, i,m happy now !
