I have just had a lady call saying that she has silk nails and wants to change to acryllic and has booked in for two weeks time. I only specialise in acrylic and gel and not in silk or fibreglass. Therefore I wonder if someone could explain how i take the silk off - do they need to be soaked? (sorry i just dont know where to start with these type of nails)

Also, I need to purchase a new brush for the acrylic nails can anyone recommend a good brush - I had a brush (pro-styler) in my creative started pack and it has lasted me a year and the poor thing is tired and worn out - i have seen all the brushes in the creative catalogue and got a bit "ooh that one sounds good......and so does that one" kindathing!!!

Another one........I use the Perfect Pink acrylic powder which i think looks lovely but a few clients have asked if there is a more PINKER one??? - does anyone know of one? - and is the SOLAR NAIL ULTRA PINK Powder more pinker than the Perfect colour one??? -

Anything else.......erm i think that is it (for now???)

Thank you all in advance for any advice you can give me

Hi Di

I also trained with the Creative Pro styler... I find a long term option is to spend a little more and purchase the better Brush from Creative which you can buy a replacement brush head for...Can't think what it is called, but if you check your Creative catalogue you will see them, in different colours, and the brush heads can be bought for around £15-£16. I find it is a fabulous brush and actually works out much cheaper in the end... you can buy a pro styler version too if you wish. Contact Creative and they will advise you... I have bought much cheaper brushes from other companies for the trainees and ended up binning them because they were rubbish.

Hiya

just soak them off as normal ~ score surface, apply soak off ~ 20 mins bye bye enhancements
Creative have a new powder out called flawless pink but it is more opaque or you could experiement in a little pot and mix a bit of red and white into your other pink(from the mosiac collection)

Hi Didi - just soak them off as you would normally - they will come off much quicker being wraps!!

Some great replies already so I won't answer this ;)

Not that I am aware but again I think it was Little Angel who recommended custom blending; if this is only 1/2 clients, make up a small pot and have fun playing!

Is SOLAR NAIL ULTRA PINK Powder more pinker than the Perfect colour one???
I don't think so, it is just a different co-polymer blended powder which was brought out to use with Radical Liquid! Hope we have all helped!

Thanks everyone for helping

Just looked in the catalogue for the Master Series brush -EEEK £50!!!!!!! but like you said works out cheaper in the end!! - but what is the difference between the Sculptor and the pro styler????

The Sculptor Brush is smaller than the Pro Styler - that's the main difference! I was taught originally with the Sculptor but have always prefered the Pro Styler because I can get a better 'paddle' with it - the Ultra Sculptor is the biggest and I love that too - unfortunately, the Master Series doesn't come in Ultra Sculptor size although that may change!!!:)
