British skincare brand Elemis has entered the fragrance sector with the release of its new Eau de Parfum.

In line with the beauty industry’s growing interest in sensory scents, Elemis has developed a new bottled aroma, which is infused with an energising blend of elemi, sweet grasses and vetiver and uplifting notes of patchouli and oak moss. According to the company, mood enhancing smells dovetail naturally with a salon environment.

“For two decades, Elemis has collected and utilised active aromas that allow your spirits to soar to help you to feel more grounded,” says Noella Gabriel, director of product & treatment development at Elemis, “fragrant notes that act like doorways through which one can escape into another world, address real pleasure in life, or simply luxuriate in the moment.”

She confirms that scent adds a powerful dimension to the client experience. “Elemis has pioneered the power of ‘the breath’ and what you breathe is a form of therapy in itself,” Gabriel observes. “Having shared such as sophisticated level of understanding, the time is right to offer a beautiful, multi-faceted fragrance that creates an individual harmony on every skin.”

The new perfume is part of Elemis’ 20-year anniversary celebrations throughout 2010.
