I did my make up course today and really enjoyed it. what i am looking for now is a great book that will help me take things one step further, one that has different make up techniques in a step by step manner etc.

Can anyone help?

Also, I would now love to do some training with a make up company, learn about their products and techniques, can anyone advise me? I will be mobile as we are struggling to find beauty rooms in our local area.

thank you

Kevin Aucoin is good, then theres one by sephora too. Have a look on ebay theres tons!

xx

I would really also recommend Kevin Aucoin too also try You-Tube there are so many good tutorials and I find it easier to learn when I watch rather than read the theory..xx

yeah theres a fantastic girl on there who does tutorials have to try remember her name. Videojugs brilliant too.

Bobbi Brown Revealing book is also good. Avoid beauty therapy books as the techniques can be old fashioned and text book. Be careful with the specific make up companies too as they'll use about 20 products too much just to try and sell! And won't use other brands. Youtube is a fantastic source for techniques if you don't want to spend any money. Pick the pro artists opposed to the 'ave a go at home' ones.

There isn't just one brand that does every best product, pick and choose!!! They all have good and pants products.
