Hi guys hope that i've put this thread into the right forum.
I just wanted to tell everyone what a kind and supportive geek kylieb is :hug:. I met kylie last night ( lives down the road from me, how fab is that!), and she very kindly agreed to me practice my spray tanning on her - in sienna 12%, V.brave. I've just spoken to her and she assures me that it was a great result. .
Im qualified in NVQ level 2, and 3 as of this week, hurray. I would really appreciate more guinea pigs for waxing. Please PM me if you can help, im in Surrey. Sorry i think i've strolled into a different forum here, im not up to speed on navigating this site, i'll try harder and search guinea pigs. :smack:

Haven't met her personally, but she certainly sounds lovely.

For guinea pigs, I invented a web site just for that last year, www.salonguineapig.co.uk - maybe there are some waxing guinea pigs on there you could ask to wax - alternatively I think there is a social group on this site for guinea pigs and whatnot too...

Thanks Ruth, i joined this site about 4 days ago. I've just been back to check for willing peeps and found that 2 people have joined in the last couple of days that actually live in the same town as me!, and believe me my town is small. Maybe all of the experienced geeks are aware that us newbies are about to fall out of college this week and need support, thats a nice thought dont you think? So thanks for your hard woprk in setting up this site :hug: i've sent messages, hopefully i'll get something back.

You did fantastic! Hands and feet I found were the hardest to master and they look perfect.
I may just sack my boyfriend from spraying me and come round to you! :lol:

Thanks - it was good fun setting it up last year; at the time it was the most complex site that I'd done outside of my day job! I still want to improve it when I get the time though - like making it send you a notification email when someone posts a requirement for a treatment that you have said you would be happy to guinea pig for. Or when someone new joins that is a guinea pig for a treatment that you need volunteers for. Once that's done, I'll be happy

Sprayed my son Jakes prom date this evening - no pressure there then!- god i wish i could just spray and forget, instead of replaying the spray over in my mind - did i spray enough, did i overspray, will the hands be orange, what about the feet? wish i still smoked. I know in my mind that it will be great, but still - im a perfectionist driving herself NUTS :grr:
