A question on using different products??

Hi all

I am a newbie gel user and wondered if anyone can answer a question for me? Is it okay to use different products from different gel manufacturers? If for example I used NSI Balance Gel but liked Azkentz Paint on White gel for the tips does this cause a problem even if they have the same curing time?

Just curious to know. Also, on a different question, during competitions, are you allowed to use varnish corrector pens on the polish hand if you make a mistake?

I know quite a few techs who use paint on white gels from a different company to their main gel and I don't see it as a problem. I think it really only applies to L&P products which should not be mixed between brands.

There are certain product combinations that should never be mixed (as was just mentioned) for instance, differing Liquids and differing powders should never be mixed for safety reasons. Things like 1 brand paint-on-white products should be fine.
