I am on the last leg of writing the 3rd edition of my textbook, The Complete Nail Technician. (I'll be glad when it's done!!)

It has been suggested that I make the maintenance section more comprehensive as this is SUCH an important of our work. It is also an aspect that is often missed during training as can be seen by so many of the questions on here!

What I need are pictures of a wide variety of nails that present themselves to you for maintenance. Pictures of real nails for maintenance would speak far more than descriptions!

Ideally, I'd like ordinary situations and unusual situations. in that way I can describe what has happened and how to put it right. I'm sure you can all see the value of that but I need your help in getting hold of pics!

If you have any pics already or would be willing to take 1 or 2 for me (in good light and in focus) I would be very grateful. The more the better

If you can help please PM me

While I am not able to provide you with any pictures, I think the maintenance section will be really helpful.

I bought your book as additional textbook for my course, think it's the second edition, and I have found thi so helpful.

My college hasn't really helped me with the maintenance of fibreglass/silk so I had to ask about it on here for my assessment last night. I think a more detailed explanation about this would be brilliant and would definitely help the likes of me, where training doesn't exactly give you much information (if any).

Sorry for the essay, just wanted to let you know I think this would really help people in my position. :)
