Hi hair geeks can anyone giv me some ideas on this please, I use affiance intense red with 30 vol on my client and it produces a lovely pillow box red with very little fading ( she's a 6/5) can anyone recommend a colour I cud use that wud giv a vibrant pink or purple without pre lightening? I know theres lots of products to put in pre lightened but I don't Want to do that I Want something that will last and not fade off after a couple of washes? She's very dramatic so it needs to be vivid! Any suggestions??
Thanks x

My manual says you can use intensives on there own x

Ah sorry had a blonde moment, you can use the warm tones on their own but not the cool. But should be used over pre lightened hair with 3% not with 30 vol so I'm surprised they don't fade quick!

Maybe do a strand test with o.76 and see if it covers the red. 3% x

Yeah when I mix them I use them on light or pre lightened hair as only depositing colour

I've used the 0,76 on my own hair...base 7 and it looked exactly the same as it does in the chart.

Just used spectrum on my hair for the first time with blue pigment and 22 vol, worked brilliantly!

Just thought I'd throw that in there lol

I would like to try spectrum , is that just like bleach but tones too? Does it lift in 12mins to a nice colour ? Do you use that more then ice creme x

Nah 12 mins is for heat when using highlights or on scalp but I ignore that because I don't use heat and this was my first scalp application and it was on for about 30 mins.

I use both ice creme and spectrum depending on the client and their needs...ice creme for scalp bleach or for white hair, spectrum for natural multi tonal highlights...I like the result on my hair but I don't think I would need to use it on a clients scalp unless they wanted an all over soft, natural blonde :)
