Hello There....
I am 31 years old and having worked in finance for the majority of my professional working life, I decided to re -train as a Beauty Therapist. I studies NVQ Level 2 whilst working full time and after losing my office job last year, enrolled on level 3 and am about to finish in July.
I suppose I am just a little bit scared, nervous and worried about starting out really. I have a six year old son and a mortgage and I am a single mum, so all bills,etc are down to me. I know the salary in salons is not very high and i will probably earn half in a salon as I used to in an office. Originally I thought I would just go at it alone but I really don't know where to begin.
Does anyone out there have any advice for me? it would be really helpful to hear from anyone who has been or is in a similar situation to me.....
