Hi there,

I have just had my invoice from my accountant- the firm has just been taken over - it’s £1440. I am a ltd company and based in Scotland! This doesn’t include my payrol which I usually get them to do.

Should I be shopping around ? Or is this reasonable?

Thanks

If it’s just been taken over by another company then definitely shop around and see what support you will get from other companies and at what price.

That looks quite cheap but it depends what you need your accountant to do. I’ll send you a link to our fees and you can see the difference.
If you just see your accountant as a book keeper/ bean counter then this looks ok but if you’re after them being an advisor as well then you’ll be paying a lot more.

Thank you what you sent was extremely helpful
