Hi guys,

Just wondering where I can get a acetone removal heater, never seen one but heard somethin about on a thread a while back. I usually put my little dippers into a tray of water, but the water goes cold quicky and obviuosly I dont want to make it too hot lol plus I'm very clumsey and spill water from the tray all the time:lol: Also I always seem to spill my acetone when puring it from the bottle is there a gizmo that makes it eaier to pur it out without spilling it?

Thanks xx

are you referring to the sonic touch?

I've never seen one but on thread (which I cant seem to find lol) someone mentioned the sonic one which is apparently really expensive, but I'm sure someone else metioned another kind (I could be wrong thou!) x

If so you will find it hard to get hold of in this country - nis were the importers but had problems with the plug/elecrical conversion issue. i got mine from the states and bought a convetor plug from maplins. However they are not all they are cracked up to be, use alot of acetone and it is still essential that you reduce thickness by 70% to ensure 15/20 min removal time. Better off with acetone, cotton wool and tin foil rather that spending alot of money on this

thanks caz thats what I was thinking of xx

HI, I was going to purchase one of those NSI dual bowls.

What do you think is a quicker removal method, the dual bowl or the tin foil method?

thanks

No need to buy a specific heater to remove the nails, just wrap nails up in cotton wool soaked in remover, then foil, then place in heated mitts, does just the trick.Thin and take down the length first though, hth:green:

This is exactly how I do mine, I have got a soak off bowl but find this method much more effective and you are not using so much acetone.

I've never tried this method but need to take mine off this week so i'll give it a bash lol

Try this way,
Soak some lint free pads in Acetone, wrap round fingers with foil then cut the fingers off an old set of rubber gloves pull them over the pads and foils them place in heated mitts.
The rubber gloves keep the acetone from leaking saying that I do place the hands in a bag before placing in the mitts.
