Acry glitz uv gel

Hi i have just done an acrygel course which briefly covered using the acry glitz powder and uv gel. Can anyone remind me with the glitz uv gel do you dip this into the strengthening powder. I did purchase the glitz powder but have just purchased the gel version. Hope someone can help.

Do you have just the acryglitz gel or do you have the clear gel also? What I tend to do is use the clear gel as the base coat with the powder and finish off with the acrygliz as a top coat to give a nice clear top coat. But if you dont have a clear gel you can do one coat with the powder and finish off with a thinner top coat.

Hi thanks for replying. I have both the powder glitz and the uv gel glitz. i know with the powder you can use clear gels or the colour gels but was unsure whether when using the uv gel glitz if you need to dip in the strengthening powder or use it alone. i am new to the acrygel products and training was a bit of a blur. In the training they applied the glitz as a first layer saying if need to file you would not file this layer if applied as a first coat. Do you think it makes a difference.

yes you do need to dip it into the strengthening powder whether it be the clear one or the acryglitz powder
Although i never use the acryglitz gel and powder together as its sometimes too glittery.
