Acrygel any good for Sculpting?

Hi All,

I'm considering buying some Acrygel and have been offered a conversion course next week, but I always tend to sculpt my nails rather than use tips. I use NSI gel and l&p at the mo.

Does anyone know if and how well Acrygel sculpts?

I have watched the dvd on Acrygel and they did demonstrate sculpting with it, and I must admit it looked pretty good, I gave up using acrygel as it gave massive heat spikes and it was hell to remove, I did however like the end result but I just could not put my clients through this painfull ordeal lol

I have never used this but I assume they will teach you sculpting with it on the course. I always think it's best to take a course if using a totally different product mate x

Thanks for your info.
I have already spoken to Acrygel about a conversion course and sculpting is not officially part of it. I just wondered what if any experiences people had using the product this way before I went and paid for the course. I love to sculpt and if its a product that doesn't do it well I'd rather look for something else!

Hi,

I've been using AcryGel for 3 years now and I love this product! I find it sculpts very well, and my clients like it very much!
When I did the conversion course 3 years ago, they did teach you how to sculpt with it, as you had to do a practical demo for your assessment, but this has obviously changed if an earlier comment is correct.
If you do the course though, you could always ask them to show you how to sculpt if it is no longer part of the assessment. Just an idea!
