Hi! Can anyone tell me if you can use white and clear gel ontop of acrylics to create a french look?
Thanks

You CAN, but it depends on what you are using to get the best results. It helps to brush on a thin layer of clear or pink sculpting gel, then your white, THEN your finish gloss. You will get a really smooth result that way.

Can you update your about me stats? What product lines are you using?

I'd think you would have to file the surface of the L+P first to "roughen" it so that the gel would stick.

Thanks guys.
I thought so but i just wanted to make sure.
Can anyone help me with the brush question when doing acrylics?

What brush question hun?

owwww sorry. I did type it out but it vanished.
When i place a bead on the nail do i pat/ spread the bead with the belly of the brush or the tip?
I've read/ heard both but not sure which one is correct.

Flags for me, but have now seen your question on another thread, and I think you should ask your educator, as I believe different companies teach different methods. xx

Yes that's right, but it's also a given for those who are trained in using gel, so I didn't mention it ;)

If you haven't been trained to use the gel yet, I would hold on to it until you DO train :) Especially since quite a few gel lines are just RIPE to cause a sensitivity or full blown allergy for you or your clients!

I've been trained in both, just not together.
Thanks for your comments
