Hi Geeks

just after a little information please.

I have done a set of acrylic nails this morning on a client, she is a regular and have done her nails loads before, she only has overlays so no tips used ( i used Nfu.oh products).

Any way the lady has just phoned me to say that the acrylic has cracked half way down on one finger. Never had this before so just wondered if any one knows what would of caused this, was is something i have done or has the lady done it when she got home!!!:)

Stop doubting yourself!

Did she leave the salon with a cracked nail? No. Ergo she bashed it on something and cracked it. Cause and effect. Nothing happens for no reason.
pressure causes cracks .... only you can say if you made the product too thin to sustain a blow ... no one else. Creating a central vertical apex in your nails will usually put a stop to this happening.

I agree with everything GIgi has said. She must have knocked her nail, it happens, and maybe a combination of this and them it being a little too thin has resulted in the crack. If you haven't had any problems before I wouldn't worry too much. We all have to be on our toes! :)
