So a client of mine has short stubby toes and she was getting the pucci tips put on her fingers and make a comment to the effect that she wished she could have tips on her toe to make them longer, so I did it using the predesigned tips i got on trenditips.com they look killer and I charged her $50 to do the toes! so now with summer I am totally promoting these in my salon! good way to make extra $$

Can I be controversial and say I don't like them? Makes me feel a bit sick! Sorry to all you long toe nail lovers! x

This is my problem, I like toes to look funky but I also like them to be short square and have a bit of skin showing at the end of the nail.
Long toe nails make me shudder, even ones done as nicely as these:hug:

But well done $50 per set, good for you:lol:

i like the pattern their certainly different! A bit long for my liking but if your clients want them it's all extra cash for you hun! :)

I just hate long toe nails, designs would look great on short ones though:)

I totally agree, I told her she should go shorter, oh well! but these tips have proven to change my business in only 1 month! I have had 12 new referrals since getting these in and using them! got them at trenditips.com

I love the tips they look fabulous, I am not keen on long toe nails but each to their own I think these could be very popular for summer and I love the Pucci ones!!

Thanks for the link

Sue :)

I love them and would have them in a heartbeat! Although I do agree they're too long (personal preferences though - wouldn't do for us all to be the same :))

Nice job. xx

Thanks! It was my 1st time applying tips on toes! Quite fun! I was happy with the $$ LOL

lol I would have been to hun, well done:hug:

My oppinion has nothing to do with whether I like the look of them or not hun,
But Imo they are far too long....this is from experience..
My toenails were nowhere near as long as this last year and I managed to stub one...omg the pain !!!!!
I broke my toe and my whole nail came out .....It was awful.

So If this length is a "must" please please extra warn your client of the damage that can be caused by this length ...
The nail plates are so small to carry such a bulk..

Thanks for the info! That is good to know for the next client!

I was going to mention emmas horror story.. and i remember the pic that went with it..
eeeowwweeeeee!!!

Being Australian and from the land of the Thong.. I pushed toenail enhancements.. i looked into tips and even applied a set once..
I found the cons far outweighed the pros..

I still push toenail enhancement.. but always have the fe much shorter.. and if i need to extend i use a form..

when a client comes in with damage you will see what i mean.. the feet are the most used part of our body and are designed to take shock.. but let me tell you.. add to that a potential hazard of a longer fe and you have major cause for potential injury.

cover yourself.. because they can and some will point the finger at you if they do hurt themselves.

That said.. they do look very cute :green:
