Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!

Been having a play around with some sample glitter and did some glitter toes fo rthe first time.

I used NFU Oh glitter and mixed in NFU Oh pink acrylic.

My question is - after you've applied the glitter, do you apply a coat of clear/pink acrylic afterwards in order make the surface smooth and buff to shine as otherwise when buffing this takes the colour of the glitter off? Or do you just apply a coat of clear varnish and leave the surface as is?

Thanks in advance x

I apply the layers thinly, and cap the glitter mix in clear, as you say the glitter turns to powder if you file it, after buffing I put on a topcoat/uv sealer, when you apply the topcoat, the glitter comes to life, you can use clear soak off gel for this as well?? hth x

Thanks so,so much. I've now applied a layer of pink acrylic, buffed this with a block and finished with top coat - my toenails are now smooth as well as shiny :wink2:
