My clients usually come every 2/3/4 weeks for a back fill, but when they show me there nails i don't have any lifting but the product looks dry and flakey round the cuticle area. I thought it might be that i am applying the L&P to thin for this to happen but when i put cuticle oil on they look great again, should i apply the L&P slightly thicker?

it sounds to me like either light lifting or just wear and tear....which can be expected on some clients after 2-3 weeks.

Are they using there oil at home...???

I wouldn't go thicker as product application to thick in zone 3 can cause lifting...it really does need to be thin and flush to the nail.

all my clients have cuticle oil but i know they don't use it very often all they tell me they forget to use it.
