Hi there,

Can anyone help with finding an acrylic nail training course that gives a recognised qualification that doesn't cost the earth? I was looking to do a 4 day course if possible :)

Many Thanks Jules

Hello and welcome to the site Jules :)

Creative Nails seems to be the most popular on here, there are loads of threads about training courses

You have a fantastic Creative nail training academy up in Scotland
if you call the head office on 0845 210 6060 they will give you Fiona's number who runs the academy hth

My recommendation for anyone starting out in this industry is to do lots of groundwork....why would you decide to do 4 days?...why would you look at only x cost?

Contact all the training providers and ask what they provide? Cost? Back-up? Support? Product provision? Further training? How long have they been training/ using their product range?

Above all, VERY importantly, take recommendations from others who have not only been TRAINED....but absolutely DELIGHTED with their training and after-care.

Hi Jules

Young nails Also offer training in your area you can either check the web sit of PM me and I will forward details to you.

Just as a not I would look to one of the big companys such as Young Nails, NSI, EZflow or CND/Creative. I have had training from all the above and cant fault them they are all fab, It just depends on what you want from the trainning as they all offer a little something different.

Hope this info has helpd

There are a number of places which do fantastic training in Scotland,
Entity and Creative being my favourite. If you look on their web sites they will be able to direct you to the nearest educators.

I did my training in Aberdeen Taylor Maid Web. I ended up taking lots of their courses because I got so much out of them. The lady who trained me has the benefit of being a UK distributor and can supply products to you particularly fast.

Their website is Taylor Maid Web :)
