Acrylic or gel course?

Hi nail techs! I've booked on a course to do nails and the trainer asked if I'd like to learn gel or acrylic. I wasn't too sure so she's asked me to confirm before my training day.

Which are the quickest to pick up technique wise? Also, I'm mobile so I would have to opt for the ones which I can apply in the least time. The trainer did suggest acrylic but I just wanted your opinions first.

Any advice will be welcomed.

Hi I have just recently asked the same thing and found most people said gel was a bit easier but it might be best to do acrylic first if your planning on doing both as then if this is the harder of the two gels may come a little easier when you come to do it, it may also be worthwhile finding out what your potential clients usually have see what's more popular in your area? ( i have now decided on doing acrylics first) Hope this helps a little xx
