Hi,

I'm still in training and so far we've only used tips. I've played around with forms myself at home but I am struggling to apply acrylic using forms without the acrylic going underneath the nail so it's in contact with my skin. When I fit the form I make small cuts in the form to get it to fit better to my c curve but it is still happening. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

It's either one of two things:-

1) Forms are not fitted correctly, it's really hard to do, those who can make it look easy but it's not. Any gap between the form and the underside of the free edge will inevitably end up filled with product. Form fitting is one of the hardest skills to master

2) If it's correctly fitted then you are potentially pressing too hard when applying the product and pushing the form down, this will allow the product to seep inbetween the free edge and the form
