I’m still fairly new to Wella. Just a couple general questions:

If you are colouring using Color Touch on virgin hair, would you use less ashy colours than you would with Kolesten Perfect? Since KP is used with higher developers that lift more, so more ash would be required to neutralize the underlying pigment, vs Color Touch where there isn’t as much or any lift, so no need to add ash to neutralize warm underlying pigment? I just want to make sure I’m understanding correctly. I’m talking about virgin hair. Thanks

One more random question: are the /7 shades in wella a lot warmer than Neutral shades generally? Do they contain a lot more red in them?

Using an ash demi-permanent would be to create a cooler tone as opposed to neutralizing.

Permanent colour:
Underlying pigment + artificial pigment = final result.

Demi Permanent colour:
Natural Pigment/Level + artificial pigment = final result.
