What colours are you using the blush bronze over? I'm new to additives, my first being the new charmed ones, icicles is ok but it annoys me that they completely change the shellac colour😳 one client wanted pink so had hot pop then when I added the additive it was goldy...I'm tempted to phone her in for a redo although she didn't say anything it wasn't the pink she chose...

Hi there, whenever I get new additives, i do a load of pops using them over different Shellacs so that I get an idea of what effect they will have.

HTH x

Sorry I meant to say I don't have Blush Bronze yet, so I haven't been much help with that :( x

Don't get me wrong, it was nice, but it was me who pushed to "play" with my new additives...just throws me to then completely change what I've just painted on 😯

You'll find that the metallic shades will pretty much cover any colour you put them over so personally I find them better for nail art and full cover colours rather than shading/toning existing colours (I hope that makes sense). The effects and pure (flat) colours will create new shades. If you want an even coverage of the additive but still want to see the base colour, mix it with some d'sperse to get the colour density you want and 'paint' it on, you just need to wait a few minutes for the d'sperse to evaporate before top coating. Hope that helps.

Cool, thanks.

I used it over satin Pajamas the other day and it was beautiful. Sorry I don't have a pic

You've prob seen my post on other threads, but this is a way of incorporating the new additives (Gilded Gleam & Blush Bronze Frost) and still appreciate the colour you've used as a base.

You don't have to do dots - I've done animal print and zebra stripes using this method also.

This method is really popular at the moment with my clients xxx

How did you do the black and gold dots? look great.x

It looks like you put too coat over the additives you want to keep, then wipe away the rest (after curing the cop coat) with %99 alcohol? I'll have to try that!

Is that the same method for the 3d looking dots next to it?
