i think the creative gel bond is a brilliant adhessive.. only thing is .. half the pot of glue is filled with air.. its such a waste of money when the adhessive will only do 2 peoples nails. i was wonderin if anyone new a good glue to use thats as good as gel bond and a bigger pot can any body plzzz help me ??????????:)

Whoa!!!! 2 sets?????? Are you applying enhancements or doing an airfix model:lol::lol:

Sorry hun I'm not taking the wee wee. Its a tricky customer is gelbond, but once you get to grips with it I think you will love it. I use gelbond for formation and eclipse tips and find it works fine. You should only ever squeeze the tube from the end (like you would with toothpaste) because if you squeeze in in the middle it keeps coming out after you stop squeezing and maybe thats why you are only getting 2 sets?

By squeezing at the end, any air should come out first. Also another handy little tip is to dab a bit of solar oil on the nozzle after the first use. This way the lid will never become glued on to the tube.

Hope that helps!

I have a solution: I tape up the tube with electrical tape so the tube does'nt crack and ooze out the cracks. You have to use the glue that is closest to the nozzle. do'nt squeeze from the bottom.

I put a pin in the end after I've nipped the top of the tuble off - keeps it permanently open. Just for info a large tube of Gelbond lasts me for months (4 or 5 months at least.....)

i got gelbond in my kit on the foundation course and never had any probs with it, infact its the only adhesive ive used so far, that dosent clog up, as long as you squeeze the end of the tube and not the middle, then you shouldnt have any problems at all hun, so far ive done about 10 sets from one tiny little tube and its not even half empty yet

or try the pin in the end thing like vetty suggested

Are you still using the small gelbond size? that comes in a 5 pack.
As I do agree with you that it feels as though there is a big air bubble in the middle, one little squeeze and loads just oozes out and won't stop!!!
I think your problems will cease though if you buy the bigger size, as it is easier to 'burp' and not clog up, as well as it doing many many more that 2 sets lol:lol:
