Glo - isn't the one liner a free one that they give to all businesses? xxx

I've recently advertised in YP and i've had loads of cold calling. It does my head in !!! One was even cheeky enough to say that he'd drafted my advert which I had apparently asked him to do and that he just wanted to check with me a few details. The penny eventually dropped what was going on and I was a bit rude to him cos they r so persistent. All he wanted was to get businesses to advertise in some crummy circular and I'd not even agreed to anything.
You can normally suss em out straight away and I just say sorry, all my revenue for advertising has been spent goodbye. Phone hung up !!

Bea,
I got the impression that it was only free for the first year from the guy who rang me from Y.P.
Several times he tried to get me to renew & kept trying to talk me into a bigger ad.
He couldnt seem to grasp, or rather refused to, that I didnt want an ad. at all
