Hi Skin Geeks I was wondering if I can pick your brains on training courses.
I want to become in the next year (if thats possible) a mobile therapist even if its only on a part time basis, offering waxing, facials, spray tanning, eyelash tinting, etc.
I have been looking at courses and to be honest the more I look the more confused I get. Theres VTCT's, NVQ's, product based training days, theres a course at my local college for waxing on an evening once a week over 10 weeks.:irked: I am so confused about it all, I haven't really any knowledge of this side of things and I don't want to end up wasting time and money on things that aren't any good. I want to be able to get out of the 9-5 grind and am more than happy to update or upgrade any training once I am in a better position to do it, in fact I am definitely going to do more training.
I can't go full time into anything at college my commitments at the moment won't allow it, though I would like to go to college if it would help me in the future.
I suppose my question to the skin geeks is how did you get where you are and what would you do differently if you were just starting like me?
