I really want a good tanning machine, i simply do not have the money as i don't work plus i am a full time mum, it will take me at the end of this month to buy a decent tanning machine. The only problem i have is, i don't want to save up for it and i end up not getting alot of customers as i have just started my business, I am starting my beauty course in August.

What is the best way to attract customers? Flyers? Word of mouth? Models or offering spray tan parties with friend's and neighbours? x

Probably better to start with parties, take bookings and deposits for next month, if you book enough parties then you know your costs are covered.
Insist on a minimum number of attendees to each party with minimum spend, depending on what you offer.
Just make sure you dont book parties before you can get all the equipment and training and make provision for refunding deposits if there are any delays.
Have you priced up all your equipment/solution and booked your training?

Whatever you don't go buying equipment off E bay...you never know who you are buying from.
You may end up in the long run paying out more than buying buying one from a reputable spray tan company who would have your interest at heart.

There are plenty of good deals to be had from these companies who service this sector rather than some dodgy geezer bringing in a load of cheap machines from China who really couldn't give a dam about you once he has your money....will he be there for you when things go wrong with the machine you bought from him...me thinks possibly not.

I think the best thing I did was take my mum to a beauty show, didn't think about doing spray tanning until I ended up at the Sienna X Stand, Mum offered to pay, I then paid her back in instalments! I too would not buy off Ebay, after reading somewhere that someone ended up with a fence painting spayer!!! I would recommend Sienna X to anyone!

Why don't you buy the mini mist to get you going, and as you build up clients and save money you can then invest in a bigger machine?
