Aftercare Advice - with a twist!!

I was thinking because I will be called Angelic Nails of doing my aftercare advice on my website as the 10 commandments.
What do you think to corny?

Also could you help me list 10:

I want to cover what not to do e.g. Dont use them to open car door handles/cans/pick with
and also what to do with them e.g cuticle oil twice daily.

I'm going to work on them today and then I'll post them to see what you lot think, but any ideas in the mean time would be greatfully appreciated.

The 10 commandments of enhancement aftercare:

• Thou shalt not use enhancements as tools Undue pressure on the enhancement may cause them to weaken or break, try to remember “jewels not tools”
• Thou shalt not pick, clip or bite enhancements Picking, clipping or biting the enhancements will weaken them and substantially reduce the life of the enhancement as well as cause damage to the natural nails .If lifting occurs please contact myself to arrange a repair.
• Thou shall remember to wear gloves when using detergents and harsh chemicals or gardening Exposing the enhancements to detergents and harsh chemicals without rubber gloves can cause them to become dry and brittle and more prone to breakage.
• Thou shalt not remove enhancements Enhancements should be removed safely followed by a manicure to restore flexibility to the natural nails. This should be done by a professional and never carried out by the client.
• Thou shall attend regular maintenance appointments Dependent on lifestyle nail enhancements may need fortnightly or three weekly appointments. If the enhancement is lifting or damaged and this is ignored it could lead to a bacterial infection.
• Thou shall use non-acetone varnish remover Acetone will break down the product and reduce the life of the enhancement.
• Thou shall use basecoat under varnish Using basecoat under varnish will prevent staining of the enhancement.
• Thou shall use the recommended oil twice daily on enhancements The regular use of oil will help to maintain the flexibility of the enhancements and prolong their life and reduce breakages.
• Thou shalt not leave nails in water for long periods of time Water can lead to dehydration of the enhancement, causing them to become brittle and prone to breakages.
• Thou shall contact Angelic Nails if in any doubt Please feel free to contact me if you are unsure

One change I would make it to use either 'shalt' or 'shall' but not both mixed.

Yeah you're right, I did it have it saying all shalt and then changed it for some reason - I'm off to change it back.

I'm not sure how you would change it though.
Shall is positive and "shalt not" is the negative.
"Shalt not" goes together, and you can't use "shalt" in a positive fashion.
Am I explaining it well?
And we don't say "shall not". Well, we could, but it really is "shalt not".

I know what you mean V, I think that's why I had shall and shalt, because I thought shalt was a negative as in shant.

That's what I thought, something a bit different.
I went with the last one in the end, I thought as I'm fairly young
(cough 27!:lol that that's the image I want.
I'm also trying to attract the yummy mummy trade, so that I can work school hours.
