Hi, iv just opened a salon at home here and I have bought dinair airbrush make up. I am currently offering Wedding make up for £35 per head as I am doing this as introductory rates, I'm thinking about putting it up to about £45 to £50 per head. I'm wondering if this is a reasonable price for the treatment. There are alot of salons in my area and they use cheaper make up and r able to offer it alot cheaper so I don't want to be too expensive and lose business. But I don't want to be so cheap that I am losing money. Any comments wud b appreciated thank u xxx

Hi - what do you charge for a trial? Just wondering if you could incorporate a trial in there to validate a higher price.

Hi the trial price is included in the £35 at the min. I'm actually doing the trial price for 10 and the make up for 25; but that is actually introductory rates. Also if anyone knows where in the uk sells dinair it wud be great to know as iv just realised how expensive it is to order it in. For a 1.15 oz bottle is $32 then for shipping it is $25!!! Crazy prices!!!

i have started charging full price now for bridal makeup after 6 months of building up a portfolio and offering my services at a reduced rate .. i looked around at other mua in the area with similar training, using high end products such as chanel, dior, mac, bobbi brown etc - they were charging between £60-£90 for on the day makeup, so i have priced myself somewhere in the middle - £70 for on the day, and the same again for the trial . i charge £15 for airbase as an optional add on service - i was a little nervous at first after putting my prices up, but so far the bookings are coming in - the bride tends to go for the airbase, not so much the rest of the bridal party
