hi my sister in law decided to go on net without me knowing and buy herself some coloured gel for her toes but ive never heard of this make as i only do gel on toes and normaly use nsi but she didnt like their colours :| i dont know how long to cure i know its a one step soak of gel but thats it has anyone heard of it and how long do i cure it for thanks xx:hug:

Have you done a search on here for Akzentz?

It is a very well known brand and use by many of us geeks on here so you will find loads of threads on this gel where there will be loads of useful information.

Good luck.

just been reading though its sounds good but just that a thought what about primer does it need one also will i need different brush as you do with different acrylic and ive use my gel brush with nsi product help lol xx

It depends if you are going to put the colour over your normal product. If not then you will need to get hold of an Akzentz base gel product of which there are a few.

What product would you normally do on this client?

u could get her to buy a "sample kit" as well and then u will have all the main ingredients-i.e bonder, builders, (lots of different ones in this range,)and top gloss, or u may be able to get a soak off try me kit too not sure-the one i mentioned is all buff off
but u will still need affixit and maybe sure bond too
your normal gel brush will b fine :)
so really your sister in law has been a little bit naughty!Lol but if she really has to have those colours then maybe she can get you the rest of the gels to go with it-the sample packs arent too expensive-look up nails plus beauty on google
Its a 2min cure btw :)
HTH:hug:

i use nsi but im going to take it of first i get her to get bonder and see if she get me trial pack to then as she been naughty getting it in the first place lol thanks for your help guys much appreciated xx

i just had look on site lovely colour gels so she needs to buy the affixit not sure bond is it acid based one xx

It all depends on whether she got the soakable gel or the hard gel - and also depends on which base gel you are going to be using as you can use the coloured soakable gel over the none soakable gel with Akzentz.

Does she want to be all soakable or doesnt she mind?

i dont know what she got all i know its colored ones on web site said they soak of ive never used soak off one do you do thin layer cure then another layer as when i do nsi i do thin layer cure white tip cure then finish gel not done colour one ever cant belive she just went ahead a got them sister-in-laws hay lol xx

If it is soak off colored gel you will need sure bond acid free primer, Base 'n gloss, for the initial coat, 2 coats of colour and one coat of base 'n gloss. HTH

There is a new base/bonder to use with the Options soak off gels called... Opti-Bond

Its had great feedback

Also if you email or ring Karen from Nails Plus Beauty she is SO helpful and can advise you on whats best to use with what.
